Scott K. Johnson is Of Counsel at Ward Law, LLC. His practice encompasses labor and employment law, professional liability, and complex litigation. He represents clients in individual actions, class actions, arbitrations, and appeals.
In his labor and employment practice, Mr. Johnson counsels employers and defends claims involving wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, ADA violations, breach of contract, wage and hour disputes, and noncompetition and nonsolicitation agreements. He also represents clients before the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Department of Labor, and other state and local agencies.
Mr. Johnson’s professional liability experience includes attorney, architect and engineer, and veterinarian malpractice matters, as well as lender liability claims and residential mortgage disputes.
His class action and complex litigation experience includes consumer fraud class actions, product defect litigation, mass tort and pharmaceutical product liability matters, civil RICO, antitrust, False Claims Act, and lemon law and consumer warranty litigation. He has also handled intergovernmental funding litigation before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Mr. Johnson has practiced in state and federal trial and appellate courts in California, Pennsylvania, and Washington. His experience includes arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution before the American Arbitration Association and other forums.
