Ward Law is pleased to announce that it has been featured in “Best Law Firms” by U.S. News- Best Lawyers for Labor & Employment Litigation in the Philadelphia region in 2020.
For a firm to be eligible for this esteemed list, an attorney from the firm must have been featured in the Best Lawyers publication, which recognizes leaders in the industry. (Jennifer Ward, Managing Partner and Owner of Ward Law, was featured in the 2020 Pennsylvania issue.)
Once a firm is eligible, they must meet 3 criteria:
- The firm must be respected by peers in the industry– Best Law Firms sends ballots to top attorneys, who cast votes for firms which they consider worthy competition.
- The firm must be held in high regard not only by their peers, but also by their clients– A firm must receive high praise from clients in a variety of areas, among them: a firm’s expertise, their responsiveness, and whether the client would refer others to the firm.
- The firm must be deemed worthy of merit by the Best Law Firms team– As well as considering a firm’s strengths in practice areas, Best Law Firms also considers demographic and background information on a firm’s attorneys and their business.
Fewer than 1 in 4 partners in private practice are women. As a woman-owned law firm, Ward Law hopes that this recognition challenges this narrative and shows women in the field that not only can they succeed, they can thrive.
