As we celebrate World Autism Awareness Day, I reflect on my journey as a mother of two boys who are on the spectrum. Each day is a testament to their resilience, unique abilities, and the boundless love they bring into our lives. Today, I stand with the global community in spreading awareness, understanding, and acceptance for those with autism. 🧩
As stated in last year’s White House Proclamation, “there is no one way to be autistic – each individual with autism experiences it differently.” As all parents should be with their children about all things, autism should be met with love, grace, patience, and encouragement.
Let’s continue to celebrate the diversity and beauty of every individual, embracing their differences and fostering a world where everyone feels valued and included. Together, we can make a difference.
